Nestled in the picturesque French countryside, Moulin D'Amour is a serene oasis by the river Creuse. The restored farm/manor house exudes charm and tranquility, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and historical allure.Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Nina, the exceptional host who made our stay truly unforgettable. The comfortable king-size bed in our well-equipped room provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding area.The highlight of our stay was the delicious 3-course dinner served on the patio overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. The home-cooked meals, featuring fresh ingredients sourced directly from the farm, were a delightful culinary experience that showcased the best of French cuisine.We were impressed by the attention to detail and cleanliness throughout the property, from the spacious rooms to the outstanding family room with views of the river and old mill. The luxurious bathroom, one of the best we've experienced, offered a touch of indulgence with its efficient shower and ample hot water.During our brief stay, we enjoyed the peaceful ambiance, the warm pool, and the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside.Although our visit was brief due to unforeseen circumstances, we left with a sense of calm and gratitude, thanks to Nina and her exceptional hospitality. Moulin D'Amour is a hidden gem that we look forward to returning to in the future for a longer, more leisurely stay.
